CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician)

I graduated from the Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology and interned at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo in Indiana. I have been working as a CVT since 2007 and started working at Bel Aire Pet Clinic in 2011. I have a 6 year old son named Tristen who enjoys animals about as much as I do. I also have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 birds and fish. Although I primarily work with dogs and cats, I also enjoy working with birds and other exotics if I get the opportunity.

CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician)

Locally born and raised in MTZ area. Due to her love amd oassuon for animals, after high school she went on to get her Bachelors of Science in Zoology at SIUC in 2012. In order to widen her possibilities of working
with animals, she applied to the Veterinary Technology program from SICCM in Herrin, IL. After graduating from the program in the spring of 2014, she took the VTNE and became a certified veterinary technician in the state of Illinois. She has particular interest in exotics which became apparent when she worked a few summers as a season zookeeper at the Scovill Zoo.
